121. My Favorite Volleyball Game | 排球，我的最愛！

After 2 weeks of competitions, the Olympics is finally over. With more than 300 events, we had a great time enjoying different skills and figuring out the winning ingredients. The athletes displayed speed, strength, flexibility, agility, endurance, strategy, and mental toughness. We admired all of the competitors for their training, skills, and personal sacrifices.
Among all the games, volleyball is my favorite to watch for several reasons:
First of all, it has relatively simple rules and is easy to follow. It is a great spectator sport. We can follow every move and every point clearly.
Volleyball is definitely a team sport. Winning a point always requires several players to coordinate and execute the play in perfect harmony.
The players on a team have clear and distinctive roles: receiver, blocker, setter, server, and striker. Each has special talents and skills to perform their particular role. It is fun to watch the tall striker jump high to deliver the powerful strike. It is equally interesting to watch the short receiver dive to scoop up the ball before it hits the floor.
The team’s strategies and plays are communicated via hand signals, verbal sounds, or just intuitively through years of working together. They seem to be able to read each other’s minds and act accordingly.
And most importantly, they always have time to celebrate a good block, a good save, or a winning spike. They laugh and smile often, even if they lose. They just enjoy the moment and celebrate every point won. When a mistake or an error is committed, they just cheer the player on without blaming or feeling sorry for themselves.
It is so enjoyable to watch a good volleyball game and see teamwork, player roles, strategy, talent utilization, communication, and celebration in action. As a matter of fact, aren’t these also the ingredients for any successful business or project team?

經過兩周的比賽，奧運終於落幕。在超過300賽項中，我們度過了愉快的時光，享受不同的運動技能及獲勝的元素。運動員表現出速度、力量、靈活力、敏捷度、耐力、策略以及精神韌性。我們欽佩所有參賽者的訓練、技能及個人犧牲。
在所有的賽事中，排球是我的最愛，原因有很多：
首先，它的規則相對簡單、容易遵循，也是一場很棒的觀眾看賽。大家可以清楚地追蹤到每一個動作和每一次得分點。
排球絕對是一項團隊競賽，要贏得一分是需要數個球員協調及完美的配合執行。團隊中的球員，具有明確而獨特的角色。有接球手、阻截手、二傳手、發球手以及前鋒。每個人都有特殊的才能和技能，來扮演他們特定的角色。看起來高大的前鋒，得跳得高才能提供強大有力的殺球。看短接球手搶救快要觸地的球，也同樣緊張刺激。
團隊的策略和比賽行動是通過手勢、口頭聲音或者透過多年合作直覺傳達的默契。他們似乎能夠讀懂對方的心思，並採取相應的的行動。
最重要的是，他們總是有時間為一個好的攔網、好的撲球、好的扣球，而一起歡呼。他們經常開心地笑，即使是輸了的球隊。他們享受在球場的時刻，並慶祝贏來的每一分。當犯渾或出錯時，他們也只幫隊友加油、而不責備或感到不悅。
觀看一場精彩的排球賽，從團隊合作、角色扮演、戰略、人才利用、溝通、還有球員間的加油打氣，真是太令人愉悅了！事實上，這不也是任何成功的業務、或專案團隊所需要的嗎？
